What the site does
The ERAS Headshot Requirements Checker helps residency applicants review a photo's file type, file size, pixel dimensions, embedded DPI, background, and approximate face centering. It runs the checks in your browser; the selected photo is not uploaded to this site.
Some dimensions and DPI checks are labeled as legacy targets because AAMC does not currently publish those exact values. The checker is an informational aid, not an official ERAS or AAMC service, and cannot guarantee that a photo will be accepted. Always confirm current requirements with the official AAMC photo guidance.
